Senior Marketing Specialist, Mobile Business Group, Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc.

Jeremy Schoales, senior marketing specialist for Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc., Mobile Business Group, joined the company in 2006. His day-to-day responsibilities include managing the division’s internet marketing activities including its consumer website, pioneerelectronics.com as well as the exclusive social network for Pioneer retailers, Mobile Electronics Live (MEL). His primary initiative is to educate consumers about Pioneer’s in-vehicle entertainment and navigation solutions, while building excitement and demand that directs them to retail and distribution partners.

His dedication and passion for web-based marketing initiatives that deliver tailored, impactful and immediate messages to consumers, has led to several promotions within his relatively short career with the company.

Schoales was vital in the implementation of Pioneer’s Mobile Electronics Live (MEL), an online portal for their retailers, created in 2007 as a way to establish direct two-way communication among its dealer community. MEL offers exclusive product information, video training and technical support to approximately 2,800 participating retail stores and numerous staff members. Schoales has also hosted, produced and edited several of the training videos featured on MEL and on the division’s YouTube channel.

In 2009, Schoales helped to further expand the success of MEL in to the company’s consumer website with a feature called FitFotos. A first in the industry, FitFotos, added new functionality to the mobile entertainment product categories by highlighting installations of car electronics products by authorized Pioneer retailers. FitFotos’s two-fold purpose enables dealers to showcase their professional installation capabilities while simultaneously helping consumers visualize the fit of Pioneer products in their vehicles.

Schoales’s long-term goal is to grow with the company and continue to evolve internet and social media endeavors to keep Pioneer at the forefront of these emerging communications.

Schoales received Bachelor’s of Science degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and lives with his wife in Orange County, California
