Drew Martin
Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Sony Electronics

Drew is responsible for developing and implementing SEL’s information technology strategy in support of the company’s goals.

Before his current role, Martin worked closely with the service platform, direct business and professional business groups as well as corporate functions such as purchasing, legal and security to ensure day-to-day support for business operations and delivery of investment projects. He was instrumental during the business transformation of SEL’s supply-chain management system and in 2005 was recognize for his efforts with the President’s Award.

Before joining Sony five years ago, Martin spent nine years managing selling systems at PepsiCo and before that he was a consultant at the Accenture consulting firm.

Martin graduated from Cornell University with a bachelor’s degree in engineering. He is on the University of California, San Diego Extension Advisory board in guiding the curriculum development for the Strategic IT for Professionals program.
